Hunstrete House Hotel
Hunstrete House stands in a classical English landscape on the edge of the Mendip Hills. The house is largely 18th century but the history of the estate goes back to 963AD. Many of the rooms have uninterrupted views over undulating fields with woodlands cresting the hills and deer graze in parkland beside the house. The estate was owned for 350 years by the same family and only became an hotel 20 years ago. The house is much as it was when a private home.
